Eirnys and Vesna

My official April Contest Entry for Doll-Makers-Domain 's April contest, and I've been working on this since I posted my mast Doll maker creation, and, for once, I can say that I am entirely satisfied by the way this turned out.

For a little backstory on the two characters in this that will eventually end up being canon in the Beastverse (my new, shortened name for the universe in which Ena and company reside), every four months, there is a day-long ritual that involves four Mages that basically passed the torch of the seasons. Eirnys is the mage of Winter, and despite being a Raven Anima, has lived longer than most of the other Seasonal Mages due to being born in the Early Murky Era, a period of time that's roughly 300 years in length where there was little to no historical documentation when Anima were revered and treated as Gods among men. While there are some Mages who are able to influence some minor things in nature, like manipulating the water vapor and freezing it to create ice, or the Earth mages who use elements provided by the soil to grow and create plants, the Seasonal Mages are the only ones with a deep enough connection to Mother Gaia to actually embody their seasons. As such, while Eirnys is beautiful and usually gentle, she is rather unpredictable and can turn cold, uncaring, and cruel at the drop of the hat. Along that same line, while Vesna, the Spring Mage, is bright and cheerful, but she has a mild sadistic streak that she indulges when she sends out her more... *fragrant*... flowers and watches them sneeze themselves half to hell.
